The costume reference library, known as the CRL, is a guide used to judge costumes before they are approved for use in a costuming club. Typically comprised of photos, detailed descriptions of each part of potential costumes, and a list of minimum requirements for approval, the CRLs ensure consistency across the look and feel of each member's costumes.

Although our name suggests a strictly Imperial focus, Fractured Empire consists of remnants of the four main iterations, or eras, of the Empire - including the Galactic Republic, the First Order, and the Final Order.
